Typically entrants will have:

  • Access to a minimum of 100 hours of professional practice in the education or teaching sector. This should be in a role that carries the full range of teaching, learning and assessment responsibilities
  • English and Maths qualifications at Level 2 (e.g. GCSE grade 4; grade C or equivalent)

  • Access to regular mentor support in your specialist area is desirable

  • A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in your specialist area

  • The relevant professional, industrial or commercial experience will be considered if formal qualifications are not available or relevant.
